After a couple weeks of snags and fire fighting, I'm happy to say that the Caddy is finally coming along. The coilovers are class and very comfortable, would think the standard wheels help with that too. I've no pics of the back but I've 36mm artificial grass fitted, amazingly nothing moves around. Good at keeping oily hands clean too :D Next will be seats and door cards.

Thanks for looking
Kevin

Cool idea with the artificial grass rear and your line of work. Brilliant! Would love to see a pic :)

Wheels are on the back burner for the moment. It has fresh tyres so will run them for a while until I can get my hands on something else. Would like a set of 17" steelies but apparently they're difficult to get in 5X112

Hi there and welcome along, if you want 17" Steel rims then look for the new Mercedes Vito steels, they fit perfectly with just the need of spigot rings, here's three photos, the first two are standard Vito 17", and the last one is Vito 17" with a slight band added to them ImageImageImage

I've been driving up the mileage the last few weeks and loving it, a couple of scrapes from underneath but nothing mental. I really need to get some steel mesh welded into the back and get my equipment organised. In the meantime, I've been on the hunt for some seats! Tough enough to get something decent and quickly in Ireland, and I wanted something more then Passat sport seats. Last night on ebay I picked up some A3 8P Sline's :D After some TLC she should see me right.

Next will be Touran door cards and a steering wheel but haven't decided which yet.

Kevin
