Nearly finished the carpet !
Had a couple of days away from working on the van due to life commitments, but back on it this evening as I have now finished until Tuesday
I was intending to use the same carpet on the roof panel that I've used on the sides, but I had a little brain wave and bought a roll of 'hipster' wallpaper. I used some of my good friend Mr contact adhesive and ran the lengths diagonally across width ways - I've decided it looks better like that but mainly because I didn't end up with one long join right down the middle and another 2" strip as the width of the roof panel is 2 and a bit widths of a roll of wallpaper
Something abit different - what do you think?

Next, I decided to tackle the flooring. Plenty of options from Lino, Altro, carpet etc but I chose to use B&Q 50x50 carpet tiles in a gunmetal/anthracite to contrast the smoke carpet lining on the walls.
A box of 10 tiles is £23 and is just enough for the SWB van with a few offcuts left over. Made some templates out of cardboard as theycame round the front of the wheelarches.
