Let there be light ..
LED lights fitted and wired up to the overhead courtesy light - so the come on when the door opens and then theatre dim when they go off

I might fit a separate switch for the 4x LED lights if we camp in it so they can be used during the night for example.
Also, purchased a set of genuine VW mudflaps and fitted those today. I think they will look much better when the van is lowered and alloy wheels fitted. Colour coding bumpers is along way down the list so wasn't too worried about fitting them to the textured rear bumper for now.
Whilst I had the front wheels off I measured the strut diameter - 55mm. So I can now go ahead and order the lowering kit - will probably be the Darkside KW kit or either Vmaxx / Prosport.
So next job is order the suspension kit, get it fitted and then sort out some wheels

Quick question as I'm now at my flooring stage... what have you put under the ply floor any insulation? When I got my van the guy before had glass fibre under the ply and it made it very quiet but don't want to use this if I can help it.

Good effort with the roof. Looks really cool.
And also a great idea with the carpet tiles.

I stuck some Silentcoat to the metalwork, then some of the B&Q bubble wrap foil, then the ply, then the carpet tiles.Bwj182 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2017 10:38 pm Quick question as I'm now at my flooring stage... what have you put under the ply floor any insulation?
