My first caddy. 2011 British Gas 102

Post by Garrigle »

Hello everyone. Been a good few years now since I have been on a forum, just got back into the VW scene and bought myself an ex BG Caddy 102 1.6. Really good condition and 59k so can't complain. First job was removing the bulkhead and new alloys and lows.

Plans for the future include;

Set up coilovers
Spacers on wheels
Roof rails
Window tints
Camper conversion in back
Remap and restriction removal
Colour code bumpers and smoothing

Have a good feeling about this forum so far everyone seems pretty chill and good crack. Look forward to seeing the progress of my own caddy and everyone else's on here! Cheers

Really like the van wish I could afford the newer shape but my budget would only stretch to an 06 ☹️

Better photos of the wheels and lows.

Next is roof rails and then I can make a start on soundproofing and insulation/carpeting for the back.

Thanks !! Image

Hell mate I am using the VMAXX coilover kit. Rear could go a little lower in my opinion but it handles well and isn't too bouncy like the cheap coilovers.

This has come today. Looking forward to spraying the calipers this weekend. Also bought some plastic spray paint to do the new engine cover.
