Re: My £500 sdi
Passenger half needed to be cut so my fishing rods can either locate up in the overhead storage or sit on the touran folding passenger seat.
The drivers side will be used to mount a tv screen facing the back and hide a leisure battery, amp and a few bits

Re: My £500 sdi
I've got a nice 21" led widescreen monitor that should fit nice there.
I plan on making my fishing bedchair fit along the passenger side if I want to sleep in the van
So many ideas for it lol

Re: My £500 sdi
Also installed a powerflex lower engine mount insert as mine was a bit tired, the gearchange and pulling away feels like a new van!!!
Pff85-504p is the part number up to 2008.
Took 5 mins to fit

One 21mm bolt, use a proper jack and axle stands though.
Instructions are pretty clear tbh

Re: My £500 sdi
I fitted a touran armrest centre console as well make all the difference you make hut have to cut part of the bulk head and floor out if you won't to keep the cup holder and air vent tho that's what I had to do but i removed the bulkhead anyway just trimmed the back floor with an angle grinderMk2kompressor wrote:

Re: My £500 sdi
I've prepped the ass end of the console to step over the floor, haven't decided on what to cap it off with yet though

Re: My £500 sdi
Update time!
Ran a full tank of the rhino fuel stuff through and also a load in the fuel filter housing, it's not perfect but the warm idle is half as bad as it was.
Spent the last 3 days playing with my new glue dent puller kit, pulled all the small stuff and some big but bits will need filler.
Fitted the ispeed wind deflectors, rear wiper blank and some led interior bulbs.
Next phase is to fit the console (still!) and add all the wiring for:
Split charger
Amplifier
Reverse cam
Rear bulkhead screen
Decide where to mount the pc!
The pc will be used for mainly mapping lakes out with my gps sonar
