PaulC61 wrote:Zak, are those plastic wheel trims on your wheels? Did you put them on if so where did you get them. I'm putting the steelies back on my Caddy for winter but don't really like the silver finish. Thanks.
Yeah mate, they're off eBay.
Gave the silver steelies a spray with black paint so they don't stand out through the holes, I used a big piece of cardboard to keep overspray off the van when doing this.

Couple more jobs done.Rear door interior handle, some Touran seats, bonnet insulation and engine under tray.
The sound proofing has made such a difference, it’s so quiet now.
The seats are heated so the next jobs to connect them up.

Side windows now in, did this myself. Not too difficult, just a bit daunting cutting through your bodywork.
And also colour coded handles, i did this by painting some cheap plastic covers off eBay. Pretty happy with them, especially as it was so easy and cheap to do.

What a great idea, painting the covers! How did you get a colour match?

Just sent the paint code, LT5B - KLM Blue in my case to a eBay seller who mixes whatever you want. I’ve painted a few small items with aerosol cans and achieved a good finish, bumpers will be getting done in a body shop. Here’s the eBay seller I used https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 2603178323

eBay, can’t remember what I paid but they weren’t cheap. Worth it though, such a difference.

Awesome job dude! I've just picked up those exact same seats! You reckon they're heated? Did you get them wired up?
