My Black Highline 2.0

Post by Jonnyfox882 »

Just picked up my 2013 Caddy C20 Highline 2.0 with 29k with FSH

Have some wind defectors, rear number plate LED's, aluminium air vent rings and mudflaps on route and im going to remove the bulkhead and have the rear sound proofed and carpeted. Ill need to come up with something in terms of storage for fragile mobile phone and computer parts & lcd's and a small bench for doing mobile phone repairs. Will also need to put an invertor in for power and some lights in the rear. Will also put some alloys and possibly lower it at some stage. Also want to add a reverse camera :) ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Thanks very much folks.

I just ordered the original ones and paid like £60 odd quid if i remember right. Im a firm believer of doing it right first time around so just paid the extra for the OEM flaps. Ive added some wind deflectors and ordered a roof spoiler so it will be getting painted along with the rear bumper this week.

I am also going to put wheels on it as a friend of mine will give me a great price.I had 2 in mind. Either some New RS4 style 18" Gun Metal
http://www.cmwheels.com/index.php?route ... allery]/2/
or these 19" Staggered OEMS IFG10 Directional Alloys
http://www.cmwheels.com/index.php?route ... uct_id=818

Which ones do you think? The first ones are 18 and the 2nd are 19"? Am i mad going for 19"s? I do drive a lot of B roads and have some speed ramps to go over so which would be better? I will also be lowering it and am unsure which way to go. Coilovers or springs? I was thinking of ordering some Prosport coilovers but im a bit reluctant as ive never lowered any vehicle and im afraid of going too low. I suppose this is why im thinking of coilovers instead of springs. As ive said I do drive some B road and would just like some recommendations or what would suit me best? Any help greatly appreciated

Lovely. These would be my choice if I were buying a new set. Hope you get a decent deal. I drive on B roads and farm roads too and I'm fine with 18s.

Yea think i will go for them :) Where are you from?

Does anyone know do mk5 GTI coilovers fit the caddy? Was thinking them and the darkside flip kit. Thoughts?
