So my new stereo came last night, thought I'd quickly install it before it got dark. Big mistake Image some many wires that do many things, think I'll have to spend the next few days trying to figure out what these many things are. It's an Android powered touch screen I got after reading another thread on here ImageImageImage

So what a nightmare this turned out to be, the cause of all the crazy wires ended up being the parrot kit that had been bodged in. Ran out of daylight so only managed to strip out the parrot kit. Still worked out all I need to do is connect to the ignition wire for power and a illumination connection for the lighting to work so an easy job (I hope) for the weekend. The rest works off the existing plug which comes with the stereo. Fits in nicely tho Image ImageImageImageImageImage

I ordered it from USA came out as £156 delivered which I think is a bargain. There is a head unit post in caddy chat with a link Image

So though I'd do a quick update from today's activities. The R is going tomorrow so had to remove the remap and accessories, really going to miss 380bhp but hey I have a caddy now Image

Got the stereo working, all you have to do is wire into a ignition live and illumination cable. Luckily I found both of these on the heater controls above the stereo. Check all region dvds and plays them all, internet works aswell if you can get a WiFi connection or 3g dongle! ImageImageImageImageImageImage

It's the nuts! Connects to the canbus so you can set it up to vw steering wheel. Also works with front and rear cameras, tv antenna, parking sensors and has an output for literally anything you can think of.

Do you have a part no on the box anywhere, need to find an online manual to read

That should take you to the stereo, it's VW specific. Might be something there if not I have the manuals so can look for something specific.
