Oh and my GTI gear knob turned up so put that on. Desperately need some Toran door cards as these stand out with the trim painted!

Also pick up the Toran centre console with armrest on Monday so will be scraping my knuckles with that later in the week.

Updates will slow down now had to get it all out my system lol.
Today's plans are same as yesterday but drivers side trim and seat. ImageImage

Vans looking good mate. Where is the handbrake lever cover from?

I’ve only had my Caddy about a month and it’s only had a quick clean so I need to give it the same treatment you have!

Cheers, taking up all my time tho! I got the handbrake and gear gaitor covers from eBay. Was going for a golf gti themed interior appart from seats as too expensive at the moment!

So after hours of fettling managed to get the drives seat in Image

Got most the plastic painted but ran out of paint as I guessed so will have to finish those bits in the week with the bulkhead side pieces I trimmed away. Checky pic of the old man's T5 as this is camper orientated 🖒ImageImageImageImage

All in all a productive day, few pics of the seats fixed in and freshly painted plastic trims. Just the last few bits to do when more paint arrives.

Quick question, I don't have full access yet and was wondering if the Toran wing mirrors fit. Don't mind if a bit of modification is required?ImageImageImage

Looking good. I like the plastic colourings, nice cheap mod. Yeah, Touran mirrors fit, never fitted them myself but numerous have on here with a little modification required.

It's a paint for rigid plastic, think I posted a photo on page 1 🖒

Great mods so far, love the black spray!
The previous owner of mine kept a cat in it, I'm still finding fur balls so know how you feel (the smell of mine is more ammonia though 🤢)

You need to plastic weld the touran mirrors to caddy bases.

Wow, that has to be worse! Hate that ammonia smell, I literally went through a bottle of fabreeze when I picked it up was horrific. That sounds like a project to get involved with Image

Had a few hours spare after work today so made a start on the insulation, there was a lot of swearing but got the top half of the drivers side done. Filled all the other holes in the van with insulation and covered over with the stupid silver tape that takes 3 hours each piece to peel off the backing tape Image ImageImage
