Nearly completed the carpeting. Just need to make an upper panel for the sliding door and carpet the small rear left panel :D

Cheers TonyC - I’d been putting it off for aaaages but in fact was quite easy to with the megavan mats stretch carpet. Laying down the silent coat took longer than putting the carpet on. The first side of carpet took about 2 hours. The other side only an hour once I got a feel for it :)

Hey Liam, I got it from TPS mate. Pretty dear for what it is!
I did enquire about the black version Caddyluv but apparently only available for left hand drive :(

Last time I looked into it. £280. Might be cheaper now. But yeah it’s a lot for what it is.

Spot on Caddyluv, was £281, that was with a bit of discount too! Thought I’d done alright until they added the vat on Image
Part numbers in the pic Liam :)Image
Think one of the reasons it’s dear is the vents are built in, you have to remove your old vents to fit it, plus you need to cut off 3 locator tabs but it was pretty quick and easy to do Image

Finally got around to getting my suspension and wheels fitted today. They have been sat here a while. Initially wanted to get this sorted last autumn but the turn in the weather put things back!

This is the scale of the original height. You can actually sit a sports direct mug on the tyre no probs... however i forgot the mug to demonstrate!

Couldn't believe how low the van now was, difficult to see in the pic but if you check out the reflection you can see my R2D2 antenna which i recently had installed :p

Was a bit worried at when the new wheels were fitted. I thought the et45 rims would have been a bit more 'tucked'! They are pretty flush with the arches tbh. Know a few on here have removed or modded their rear arch liners but after a couple of test drives i didn't notice any rubbing... until i drove home, so they are gonna have to come out or be trimmed down a bit!

Really happy with the suspension set up. The van feels much more car like now. The wheels look nice and beefy but feel the pics are just not doing them justice tbh!

They are 19's Liam. I live in a rural area, the roads are bad. I have to go up a single track lane to access my house. The lane owners decided to put 2 speed bumps down there. Definitely not regulation height! Didn't have any problems getting over them today! Before my caddy i owned a Leon Cupra R - slammed as low as poss on 18's - had some bottoming out issues once in while on the country roads etc. You'd probably be surprised how you can still have a nice ride on decent suspension and big rims... even on country roads. However have been warned the caddy sump is very low and made out of butter (bought a metal sump guard to help protect it ;)

PS no probs on the part numbers dude. Have to admit, i wanted it sooo bad, then look at it and cringe a bit! Definitely the most expensive non functional thing i've bought so far ha!
