Sooo i have been non existent for a long time. Haven’t been on the forum or even had anything to do with the caddy for a long time but i have started to find the love again for it..... even though iv paid for new clutch and rear bushes recently.

The other day I randomly looked on ebay for some new seats...2 mins in i came across a set of A1 sports seats for a price I couldn’t say no to....no rips or tears, no functioning issues and only £50. They only needed a clean

£50 for a pair of front seats is an offer i could not refuse so they were mine... went and picked them up after a day at the track........

£50 ImageImageImage

Got straight home and started to clean them best i could with no seat cleaning supplies
Image

After many beers in the sun and a deeeep interior clean (found some things from the previous owner that i got the gloves out for) and they were in. I think they change the interior drastically.. Makes it such a nicer place to be in..

You can see the stains in the centre of the seats but iv been in touch with a mobile valeting service who is going to sort that out for me ImageImage

I want a mk5 steering wheel, new gear gator/knob (any you can suggest that fits with minimal doctoring would be appreciated) and a new head unit. Think the interior will look really good.

Much love

If you wanna try yourself baking soda and washing up liquid diluted in water. Scrub on. Pat dry. Repeat couple times. Hoover next day. Like new.

Washing up liquid breaks down the grease and baking soda lifts it.

Done me some very long awaited cleaning...never really saw how filthy it was until i took it out ImageImage

ImageImage
Tried my best with the visors.. it had a sticker on 1 of them

Overall pretty happy with how it came out. The little jobs make all the difference.

Debating spraying it now a darker colour to maybe match the dash. But then will it stand out against the rest of the interior?

I’ve started doing little bits to match the other trim parts.

Soo guys this weekend the caddy should be gone ! Me and mrs are expecting a little girl so unfortunately i had be sensible and sell my mx which then means the van would go to...i will be very sad to see it go but it means i have a new little toy Image

The vans replacement is a 2007 BMW 320d m-sport. It wasn’t expensive but was very clean and well looked after for its age.. i know its not a caddy but I thought id show you a few picks—

Image
The day i picked it up i went straight to my mates house

11 years old ImageImage

I tried to swap the caddy wheels onto the car. It was a gamble but unfortunately they didn’t fit
Image

This meant that i had to go shopping yesterday ImageImage.. did a few test runs....

I finally settles on these.. i think the work well . Staggered 19” fox ms007 .. I love how clean it looks and kinda sophisticated ha

Cracking wee build on your caddy did the Audi seats fit straight in? They made a huge difference in the cab. Congrats on the baby and the bmw looks nice on the new wheels.
