Casper Caddy Build

Post by watty1998 »

Hi all, done a few things to start a thread sooo here it is.

I bought a 65 plate 1.6Tdi startline maxi in October 2017 for moving to Scotland so that I could camp in it, carry the mountain bike around and because I thought they look awesome modded.

Few months in and I’ve recently started the mods with colour coding, changing interior door pulls and a few other tweaky bits.

Just picked the van up tonight from VividAttention2Detail in Inverness who have had the van for the past 3 days colour coding the bumpers and spraying some of the trim pieces for me. They've done a great job and its completely changed the look of the van, would thoroughly recommend them. Got a few pics but they aren't the best due to the light so i will take some more in tomorrow if requested.

Ayyyy! I saw yours Caddyluv and loved the blue stripe but fancied the whole grille in the Golf R blue, aswell as front splitter rear spoiler etc it should look quite eye turning once done I hope! All this spraying is very expensive though

Yep, it's looking fair smart now Watty. And I must say, the backdrop in your top photy has me pining for the spring, to get back up there with the MTB.

Sides are still the same since 2004 Short wheel base caddys... The body hasent been changed only rear bumper, taillights and front and design of the Doors a little of the Caddy 4... sides should be the same.

Sides should be the same 2004-2018 swb caddy’s only front and rear bumpers are different for sure. Body hasnt been changed, bumpers, front, doors have a little different design while shape is the same.
