Some great mods there Mark, quite a few I’m doing on my maxi.
I’m about to remove the roof rails and don’t want to break the plastic covers over the bolts.... any tips on getting these off?
Thanks

Thanks Phil, ref the plastic covers, they're eye-wateringly expensive to replace if you break them. There's small small plastic tabs which are easy to snap off (see right side of photo). Best thing to do is use a plastic trim tool and place it under the "sharp" end, i.e. the front edge at the front and back edge at the back.

Here's a photo of one of the covers so you can see what it looks like underneath, this may help you place your trim tool.

Not been able to do much lately, but took advantage of better weather to give the van a clean.

^^^ thanks Liam, very much appreciated - I’m really pleased with it. Remap 190bhp on its way later this year, that should be quite pleasing and hopefully justify the R look.

Probably KarTechnic in Poole, they’re 2 minutes walk from my work and have a decent reputation locally for VAG stuff. Map is loaded via OBD port not add on “black box” and they rolling road it before & after. Price includes future reload if it gets wiped or reset at a dealer.
