Yes mate from the standard red to the tinted. Fit Saturday I will do a picture of the current one and the new tinted lights. Ooo you mean the break light. Yeah ordered a over priced van x one. 🤦🏻‍♂️

So I had my auto lights in the tweeter bit. Image
But it was always to dark for it. So I’ve moved it upto the top drivers side of the window Image
Then I fitted my tinted rear lights. For the record don’t like the tinted top light. Think it’s to dark and doesn’t match. Waiting for the rear reflectors and see what it’s like with them. It gets so dirty behind these lights 🤮

Haaaaa clean.

I’m just about to throw the van up on the ramp and tighten the sub frame bolts. See if it stops the knock.

That brake light looks cool - can you tell if it makes much difference to brightness?

I've got the same top brake light, and I agree it looks too dark so I've purchased a black rear badge to see if that breaks it up a bit.

Think I might go see the guy that tinted my windows see what he can do with the original lense. Try make it like the factory rear lights.

That’s what put me off. The rear lights are smoked and the third brake light looks heavily tinted. You could always go old school and try a tint spray

It would be nice if they made a brake light to match the tint on the rears my van came with tinted rear lights from new and a bright red brake light, I’ve gone for the van x one the same as yours but I think it looks ok on blackberry but I’d still change it if I found a nice tinted 1, I still think the black 1 looks better than red though

Blue obsession caddy 4 build

Post by Caddyluv »

I agree buddy I do. But as people know on here, it will annoy me. So I need to find a solution. I’ve got the rear reflectors on order so who knows when there come in. I guess I could get my paint guy to throw a black tint gloss over it. 🤷‍♂️

@mark1a I have got the wife to put her foot on the break. But the brightness I don’t think it’s different. Just the light colour is. So it feels different. I’m say no there isn’t any brightness difference.
