Loving the build so far. Joining this forum was the best and worst thing i think i’ve done. So many great ideas but the wallet wont be happy. Just caught up and saw the “chip “ bad luck mate. Hope mine can be half as good as yours one day. One thing i would like some help on is the mfsw. I have a 4 aswell. Highline without nav. Would really like to do this upgrade to mine but i am fitting a jvc headunit with sterring wheel control adapter thing. Any advice would be great thanks. (Sorry for the waffle)

@buckley_p thanks for your cool words. It never ends like now. I need to trim a rear arch for the side skirt to fit properly, the paint my indicators. Then paint some interior bits then paint my engine bay just finding the time.

Regarding the steering wheel. My advice is if you don’t know how to do it yourself ask someone that does. I asked Claudiu of the forum who is based in Hemel Hempstead. But there are guys on this forum up and down the country that will have more knowledge than I do. That will happen to help. There are no stupid questions. Once you get full access I’m sure all the information you need will be there. There are loads of how to as well.

Yes mate just stick on. I would recommend adding more 3m tape around the edges. I had them all done when I had my damage repaired. But I just want to do a little fettling.

Yo Ryan, been a while since I logged on! The caddy is looking amazing! Love the new front bumper
Where did you get the silver interior handles mate? Last time I checked you could only get them with the full door card :/

Dude been ages. Yeah the handles are off golf mk7. I bought L&R hand side door cards. I think £50 in total. The vans completely changed since you last seen it. Come down to beaulieu tomorrow.

Ah thanks for that mate, did always think vw wouldn’t just make a specific handle for the caddy. Knew it would have been used for another model!
Beaulieu is a 5 hour trek for me dude so not gonna make it. The caddy stand will be bloody amazing there though

Blue obsession caddy 4 build

Noticed a few weeks back my halos were really dull. So had a play today and found a corroded plug. Gave it a clean and fixed. ImageImageImageImage
