Would like to thank the knob heads that kicked my van last night. Smashed my headlight and buckled my bonnet that cracked the paint to.

Good news got it all on video. See what happens. Police want to investigate but still have to pay insurance excess. Image raging. ImageImageImage

C**ts. Good luck with insurance, hope you don't have to go through the same pain again with getting your lights sorted.

Well I can buy a light and remake them I guess but I’m having to be at the mercy of what the insurance company say really.

You won't be at the mercy of the insurance company, you have approve whatever solution they offer and if it not to your liking then you tell them just that. Youn't even have to claim from them if you can afford to put it right out of your own pocket. If the culprits are identified, you can take them to court for all your losses, I'd even throw in a rental vehicle if you know they can be identified from your CCTV/dash cam.

As a side note, headlights are notoriously difficult to crack like that because of the way they are sealed shut and the pressure is contained within. It must have taken a fair old thud to split it open like that.
