Ciarans caddy

Post by Ciaranscar »

First time posting a topic hear but Iv read nearly all of them .
I had 2012 caddy that I sold last November and ordered a new caddy the last week of November, 12 weeks later it finally arrived and the day I collected it it started snowing and it’s been snowing since, Iv been blocked in the house so I had the time to make a few changes to it.

I didn’t go to mad with extras but this is what I ordered
150bhp highline
xeons lights
Solid bulkhead as it’s a work van (sometimes)
With solid black back window with no wiper.

The day I went to pick it up we signed up all the documents and went out to get the van but the wrong back doors were on it... so I had them swap the doors off another van they had. Lucky they had 3 red vans in stock. Annoyingly I now have a de mister and wiper stalk that have no use now but I’ll get over it .

When I got it home we went straight in the shed and put on the spoiler. Wind deflectors, extra chrome strip on the grill. Chrome sill protector and armrest, I took off the black part that holds the number plate lights and painted it
I have new wheels, stainless side bars and a front lip to go on now but I’m getting it ceramic coated next week (hence why their is still sticky bits left on it) and it will be easier for them to do these parts separately

More pictures to follow next week ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

That's an impressive set up! How much is it costing you roughly? I guess brand new it'll be a slightly different price to a 5 year old van like mine

It’s a bit nuts but it’s the first new anything I ever bought so I went all out ha.
For just the paint work to be coated is €1000 and I done the wheels myself as they were new in the box and didn’t need much correcting

Going to look awesome when it's done. Hopefully it will help stop that red fading in that hot Irish sunshine

Looks great, I love to see a new caddy getting a good start.

Are your tail lights the Alltrack tinted version or is it just the photos?
You gonna leave it at standard height for those lovely Irish roads?

Looks like it has factory xenons, if so, it will have tinted tail lights. I believe that is the case on the Life, so possibly panel van as well.
