Nice work man! Making huge progress! I have a 1.9 2008 caddy and thinking about a facelift conversion, but the touran bumper looks clean aswell!

I thought about doing a Facelift on the front end but it's a lot of money to do, for the amount it would cost u woild be better off spending that much extra on van buyjng a new shape i think.

Got the van lower, couldn't got too low as i drive on some pretty rough tracks/roads.
So went for H&R spring up front and KW flip kit on the rear one from the highest setting on the rear. Was a nightmare to fit with all the rusty siezed bolt but glad its done now.

Wow lowering makes a massive difference. Nice to see another silver caddy 👍 haven’t seen those wheels before but look great!

Over last weekend i have blocked up the mesh in the bulkhead with some 12mm thick MDF paint silver... thinking of maybe mounting rear speakers in the MDF.

Also installed a rear view camera:

Don't really notice much difference in the way it drives, the rear is a bit more creeky now, also looks like the rear wheels wobble round, apparently this is normal when lower but looks a bit wrong when u see it in the mirrors.

Little project today to tidy up the USB input for my stereo, been waiting for this to come from china for ages, couldn't find a dash mounted USB socket to suit a Caddy so bought this off ebay in the hope i could make it fit.

The outer part of the switch blank just popped off and i cut the right size hole in the switch blank next to the ASR button:

And with my very small sandisc memory stick:

Had the bottom part of the touran front bumper, rear bumper, mirror caps colour coded, a sportline spoiler fitted and the rust patch on the rear arch done.
