I got my caddy after wanting a van for years for no apparent reason, went for a British Gas maxi as I love the colour and only had 63k on the clock It’s took a bit longer than expected to get it all sorted with the mods and definitely spent more than I thought on it

First thing was the darkside st suspension kit and 18” zitto alloys with yoko 235/40/18 tyres.

Got an engine cover from eBay, painted it and went to vw for the fittings, ordered the bonnet insulation kit while I was there.

Spent muchas time stripping out the racking, trim and panels to clean, sound dreaded and get it ready for carpet

Dyed the headliner black and carpeted the storage tray, painted the grab handles black as well.

Some things are out of order, Iv been driving about for a while with nothing in the van waiting for the carpeting to be done, I had a local company that converts campers to do all the rear just for time saving really, they fitted my headunit, reverse camera and sub as well.

I got the bulkhead delete trim from vw and had them trim it to match while they did the back.
The headliner was from eBay and came ready carpeted with the lights pre wires in.

Pumpkin Head unit is pretty good, phone mirroring, hands free and gps. Quick start up and reverse camera is nice and clear.

Had some extra sockets fitted to the back of the clove box, pretty handy.

Vibe under seat sub is really good, looks nice it’s a shame to hide it away really but fits nice under he seat
