Hi All,
I've just bought an ex-bg caddy maxi 1.6tdi. It's got the racking still attached which i have managed to unscrew but there is one black charger/tracker/thing which is connected electronically with wires going to the roof (to attach to aerials?) And then to the battery. I just cant work out how to diconnect this black unit and the way it is wired in means that i cant get any of the racking out.
I've taken off the internal roof panel and the bulk head to hunt for disconnection clips but i cant find anything.
Any pointers would be much appreciated!

My van has one Ariel the wire goes under the passenger seat and is cut there no boxes or anything. If you’re not planning to use them for anything just cut it out I’d say aslongs it’s all disconnected from any power

I've disconnected from the battery and cut out the wires! Let the conversion begin!

The ariels down the side of the roof Are not needed but mine all disconnected fine there’s a lot of cable ties to snip off I don’t know if that could be your issue?
I took the aerials out altogether so I could fit roof rails.
