The Swedish black sheep

Post by Nioelva »

Hi

I just bought this Caddy 3 weeks ago. Since then I have driven it 2000 miles.
It is a 2011, 1.6 tdi (75 bhp) fairly well equipped with electric windows, AC, Webasto heater with remote and roof rails.

The day I got it:

Here is the dent dude in action.

I managed to get all the old striping off.

Also mounted rear mudguards which I found at the local scrapyard for GBP 2 each.

Next order of business was to remove the rear wiper.
A bit fiddly but finally managed to get the motor out.
Ordered the cover from Ebay in gloss black.

Spent the weekend changing the chassi. New H+R front springs and the usual rear lowering kit.
Decided not to go too low. Still want to be able to use it as an everyday car.

Some old parts:

Also decided to chage the wheels.
Out with the old

The result !
