Thought I would start a build thread as I’m starting to make some progress with the van. Picked it up a couple weeks ago and it’s pretty much a builders van . Image

In an effort to make it look a bit less White vanish, (on a budget at the moment with a house move looming) got a couple decals. Image
Quite like em but not 100% so might get rid eventually

Also managed to rip out the ply, put down some sound proofing and cover some of the original panels in a bit of carpet I got of Facebook for a tenner.

I’m pretty please with how it looks, will be carpeting the whole lot eventually and Still got to make a couple of panels for the tops of the sliding doors

Started building a unit in the back to store stuff. The bed will go right up to the wheel arch so trying to make the most of the space.

Looking good so far.. Great alternative racking to the usual..
quick question.. How are the carpeted panels mounted? Pics would be good. 😁

Cheers,I think it should turn ok.

If you look at the first pic I have put some pieces of ply up under the edges of the panel lip. Secured it with some no more nails to stop it shaking lose and screwed panels to that, had held up pretty well so far

Got my prototype shelves built, think they look pretty great. I will eventually add some doors them and either cover in something or remake the panels out of vaneered mdf ImageImage

Finished wiring up my s-line SEATS, decided to go the standalone route and just put some switches in the centre console. Also fitted some eBay special reversing sensors.

Added some window in the bulkhead and a cargo net to stop stuff rolling around in the back ImageImage

Did you just use an aftermarket kit with the original heat pads for your heated seats or have you fit the full aftermarket kit?
