Thanks for reply. I was considering it for my swb caddy for the same reason, but seems it's not good enough... wondering if that could be a cheap copy (actually not so cheap)?
If so its a bloody good copy!!!!
I've struggled to find a maxi one other than from Poland via eBay, seem to be a lot more SWB options around.

I was looking to get one from here https://www.carparts-expert.com/shop/vo ... etail.html
They do have for maxi too. But it seems to be the same smooth finish and plasticky look, judging by the pictures.
yeah, i'd say thats the same as mine. The install. manual is identical.
If you don’t mind me asking how much roughly did you end up spending on sound deadening it all.
I’ve also got a maxi and the walls are bare atm and I’ve been contemplating doing the sides and roof but haven’t bit the bullet and bought the materials

£80 on silent coat for a fairly comprehensive job on the sides, doors and roof. £250-£300 for sound deadening and insulation in total IIRC
How is the Sterling DC-DC box working out with the aux power? It’s close on my list of mods.
Absolutely spot on. The default setting is for charging a lead acid battery so i've not had to configure any settings. Just wired in and its done.
Initially i was checking the voltage from time to time to be sure i was happy with the state of charge and its always been correct.
The manuals very helpful and you configure the settings to suit the application but its fine for me straight out the box.
One useful setting is the SVEM (stationary Vehicle Engagement Mode) which enables you to charge your leisure battery at a reduced alternator ouput when the engine is at ilde. Ideal if your at a campsite for the weekend etc.
