Considering the cost of these trims, How comfortable would you be painting it gloss black with the fitting of it? Also how well does it match the brush finish on for example of steering wheel? I’m literally about to order one but think I might paint it?

Hi I paid £208 from Vw Coventry I fitted them in the car park took about 5 mins just had to remove the old vents then lined up the new piece so I could see which clips to remove they came off easy with side cutters and clipped it in , I personally wouldn’t paint it as I’ve had the stereo trim painted and hard to keep looking good especially as I’m a carpenter so always dust around in the cab but I like the look of it as it is, there are several colour options available apparently so possibly there’s a gloss black option however they did say these were the cheapest option, hope this helps

Would you mind asking what other colours they now do because it was only this. They did black in left hand drive. I would be great full.

Yes apparently all the ones he sent me are rhd

I had a play today wrapping my centre panel and sprayed my vent surrounds gloss black


The wrap isn’t the best, not glossy enough, but it’s getting painted soon
