When you take the old one off there is a metal clip to come off(that was a bit of a pain). When I bought the new gear knob it came with a new metal clip and it was just a case of pushing the gear knob down with the clip attached onto the gear stick - seems to be firmly in place

Well today was a very productive day!! Got all the interior panels all sound deadened and the cavities filled with recycled plastic insulation..also got my mats down as well. Got to say, I rather enjoyed today!

Now to get some foam insulation ordered ready for next weekend!ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

So, thought I'd give it a try trimming down my bulkhead.... What a pain in the arse job that is!! Started off trying it with a hacksaw which is fine to cut the majority of it off, but not for a close trim. Turned to the dremmel which worked but the plastic kept melting itself back together. Managed to get it trimmed down but need to finish off with a sander. Also cut one section ever so too much short so will need to fill that in with silicone or something before it's carpeted and put back inImageImageImage

Decided to give the insulation a go today - doesn't look pretty but will have carpet going over the top. This was such a difficult job but the difference is the warmth is unreal!Image

Decided to go to the Trafford Centre today, parked in the farest away car park, noone around me, end space which I overparked so there was loads of room next to me, I get back to the van and see some lads looking at the side of my van then walk off, and I find this.....ImageImage

I've had the van 3 bloody weeks and some dickheads have scratched my van! To say I'm p£&@#d off is an understatement!

It's gutting mate, I know it's only a van but when you've just spent a fortune buying it it seriously peeves me off
