When you take the old one off there is a metal clip to come off(that was a bit of a pain). When I bought the new gear knob it came with a new metal clip and it was just a case of pushing the gear knob down with the clip attached onto the gear stick - seems to be firmly in place

Well today was a very productive day!! Got all the interior panels all sound deadened and the cavities filled with recycled plastic insulation..also got my mats down as well. Got to say, I rather enjoyed today!

Now to get some foam insulation ordered ready for next weekend!ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

So, thought I'd give it a try trimming down my bulkhead.... What a pain in the arse job that is!! Started off trying it with a hacksaw which is fine to cut the majority of it off, but not for a close trim. Turned to the dremmel which worked but the plastic kept melting itself back together. Managed to get it trimmed down but need to finish off with a sander. Also cut one section ever so too much short so will need to fill that in with silicone or something before it's carpeted and put back inImageImageImage
