Right well seeing as parts are turning up I thought I’d get a build thread up even if it is going to be a slow one,

Right I’ve received the mk4 rear lights today :-) but the seller has sent one smoked and one not!!!! Fuming is an understatement tbh as he’s in Germany aswell, so no doubt going to have to return a light,

My caddy is a 2015 black highline Swb

So they won’t be fitted until that’s sorted and I’ve got my VCDS and the other one sorted to code them in,

My s3 8v vents arrived today aswell but after a quick look I don’t think there going to fit as nicely as I’d like so unsure what I’ll be doing with them yet,

Engine cover and battery box should be here tomorrow though fingers crossed and I’ve got the fixing kit at a mates garage waiting to be picked up.

Will get some pics in the day 👌🏻

I’m one to take pictures then forget to upload them, I’ve still not taken a decent one of the van,

Here’s the problem lights aswell Image

And a semi trial fit of a vent, cause I had to take one out and fix it as it was doing my head in

Looking forward to seeing how this progresses mate. You will need VCP and your EPROM edited to make the rear lights work correctly, it isn’t possible to do it with VCDS.

Looks good mate, nice and bright, I’m leaving the back for now, I eventually want to put the 3 seats in the back and tidy it up, carpet it,

I done a callout just recently, had to grab my phone for a torch as the interior one was so dim, won't struggle now lol.

You took any more pics of your van yet :)
