Swapped out my interior light for a mk4 golf light with LEDs, not much of a change just more options and a nice colour.

Looking good, is that veltrim carpet you're using? How did you get it to cover your "Cadventure" and design? Did you just heat it up with a heat gun?

@Cy Russ cheers man, its 4mm 4 way stretch carpet from megavanmats, fitted the slightly thinner stuff before which does show stuff through better but decided on this for a bit more sound/noise insulation. Glad I did its good stuff. Originally I cut the letters out of the old rear door cards so 3mm but couldn't see it (carpet being 4mm it barely showed) then I stuck them to some 5mm ply and cut again (8mm total), definitely a better result. As for the mountains I decided not to muck about and did them out of 12mm ply! As for sticking, no heat needed, just spray your glue onto your board/design (make sure you get it into any corners) then spray it onto the backside of your carpet. When they feel touch dry stick you carpet onto your board, I used an old/blunt flathead screwdriver to press it right into the corners, makes it stand out more, the 4 way stretch carpet is really good to work with!

Cheers, I've done my interior of my T25 with the same stuff from megavanmats. I found it fiddly around corners and wondered if you used heat as ive seen YouTube videos with a heat gun but never tried it.
I got completely high when carpeting my pop top though

@cy russ oh right never heard of using heat with the carpet, just vinyl and stuff. I don't know if it would be easier or not? Seemed to go on ok with a good dose of glue and some abuse!
