The first thing on the list was the mirrors mine came with the standard ones, that come off the T5 and all previous caddy’s from 2004 these where up graded to the new life ones.

A fair simple swop but had to sort out for the dab radio.

Next up was to cover the sliding door rail. Didn’t now that had to change the rail it self as well but got there in the end! Image

I think it just makes the van’s lines look a lot cleaner even if the van was filthy !

Needed to made bed to sleep on for the van first trip to Wales biking. It a working prototype this is the mk1 just made from unistruct welded together as that what I had lying around.

The plan is to make something that looks bit prettier and can be taken out easy when not in use

Image

I just fold down the rear passenger seats and the bed extends over them it works out to be a small double bed

Wanted to improve the inside of the caddy all way loved my armrest on my old t5. So sourced a caddy life center console. Ordered the joining pipe from TPS so that the air vents would work as well and wire in the 12v socket as well. ImageImage

Was a lot of trim to take of and put back on but so worth it in the end. Just wish came standard in the van. While doing the Center console changes the light switch to mk6 Golf Image

Fitted the Center dash chubby box. thought just drop straight in Image unfortunately it only for left had drive van so fit is pretty rubbish it on the list to change but it far better than the bit hole in the dash.

Found these for a steal. They taken fair while to get fitted nice but pretty happy with how they look now. Ran all the wire to extra speakers and added few extra that run off my split charge ImageImageImageImage

I am a massive fan of the oem look and never really liked my carpet job so these covered up everything nicely and gave me some storage pockets

Image

This for my fridge hidden in the bottle holder so doesn’t get knocked when loading stuff in the back

Then came the mark 2 bed ImageImageImageImageImage

Bed is made of 2 section and as all stores behind the rear passenger seats. Still
made from unistruct and ply top it highly enough to get my fridge under it

Then that got upgraded again to have sliding drawn for the fridge as was pain to get in and out.
Also added the side storage bags from Vanssea there cost a lot but make the storage in the van better for camping ImageImageImageImageImage

Also added a 100mm memory foam mattress topper and bed cover now the bed super comfy.

The wheels where next on the list to change.
Have alway loved these wheels and new fit straight on.
Image

Just put them up to the van to get the ideal
Image

Needed a full rebuild before I could fit them.
They where really bad the company that did them for me ended up drilled out 32 of the bolts Image

They came back looking mint thou Image

Van needed some lows had been looking and loads of kits in the end got KW V2. Gives really good drop and the quality is first rate imo ImageImage

The rear came with extra arm to keep the stiffness which I have never seen on other kits which one of the reason I picked them.

ImageImage

There on the lowest setting at the back and there about 20mm left on the front.

And final result I am over the moon and massive thanks to mate for the loan of the ramp was late night
