Following this, going in exactly the same direction as I want to be. Nice work.

Not sure the track pump holding the leisure battery in will pass MOT though!! 😄😄

@mark1a cheers it taken while to work it all out. Finally feel like I am getting there I can show you my split charge set up. Took a lot of work to get the battery under the driver seat and the rest is under the passenger seat and bonnet . I try get some pictures to give you the idea. I had to modify the seat adjuster to get enough for the battery but the whole install is hidden away and keep the rear seats clear for passengers. No track pump holding in the battery

Here some pictures of the split charge I have installed

Ctek dc dc charger

Few pictures of the battery install under the drivers seat I removed the seat and the H frame pulled all the matting up and found the very thick sound deading had pre-made cut outs which was perfect size for the battery. I had to trim the floor air vent to, then plastic weld all back together to made more space and my ocd could deal with it not working so had to be done. Then just trimmed the rubber matting and strapped all done. Have try get pictures of the bar that moves the sliding rails I cut it bent a new one the welded it at higher angle to give the clearance I needed.

Few pictures of what I have the fuses are all under the passenger seat with the inverter

The back I have 12v sockets in the life panels one is usb for phone iPad etc. I have extra lighting in the back and on the tailgate which found most useful.

Little mod to hold my fire extinguisher and life hammer the bracket is just 2 jubilee clips then the strap for the mountain biker on here is a backcountry research mutherload in the black think looks smart and quick release as well

That's excellent, thanks very much for this.

When I measured under the seats for a battery, it didn't look like I have any room at all (mine is a Maxi Life and has drawers under the seats). I like the CTEK DC-DC under the bonnet, my plans are to wire in parallel a pair of 36Ah batteries from either scooter or golf trolley and hide them behind the Life panels along with a Sterling BB1230 DC-DC, however your CTEK under the bonnet may have given me another idea.

@mark1a no problem! That really good idea their a lot of room behind the rear panels so getting smaller batteries behind should be good call. The ctek also is very compact all also be linked to a solar panel very easier as well. I got to it from a company online called simple split charges he was super helpful when spoke to him. He offers all bits to go with as well

@Castoutdoors yep looking into CTEK now.

Take a look at my build thread, we’re going the same way with OEM+, hopefully starting interior again after bike season & holiday this year.

Looks cool this man, you have any pics with just the roof racks on and no bike? Considering the same setup but i tend to just leave my rack on my car at the minute. If it looks ok on the caddy and not ugly ill just do the same

Before I started I carpet the hard board panels and added some shapes to match the trims in the front but was never happy with it

From memory the door cards where £90 each side for lowers and the white tops where £45 each and few quid on the trim clips for the top and blank for the bottom the lower door cards came with all the clips you need to fit
