I bought a maxi life to replace my T4 camper as with a growing family I wanted something to take kids in and camping gear. So far I have done to it.

Upgraded to leather steering wheel (old one was Ming)
Fitted a Bluetooth USB stero
Touran front seats
Audi alloys resprayed black and blue
Roof rack and bars
Replaced side bars with running boards
Carpeted back panels as scratched badly
Modified touran head lights
MK4 rear lights
Audi 8v dash vents
Heater knob upgrade

Plans yet to do
Front splitter
MK4 rear bumper
Fit tailgate spoiler
Fit LHD wing mirror to drivers side
Full respray in matching colour blue to wheels and camping trailer
Windscreen cover with eyes
Rear tints need replacing
Lowering ?
Cruise control
6 Speed gearbox
Maybe engine swap to 2.0tdi
Remap maybe
All depends on funds and family life

Have started to fit the fibre glass splitter to my spare bumper. There a terrible fit. Will get some pics when next working on it. I plan to fit some bolts to it to secure it to the bumper along with some sealant then prime and paint with the wing mirror cover

Got a MK4 rear bumper coming from dub unit and also picked up some front lowering h&r springs on newish shocks. Just need to get a shackle kit at some point and do the swap

Good to see another Maxi Life, I used H&R front springs too, and the shackle kit from Darkside. A bit of trial & error needed to level front & rear up after the front settles, and I found I couldn't go too low because of the length. I have around 60mm all round which in my opinion looks cool and still usable as a daily.

Did some work on the front splitter today before fitting happens. Fibreglassed some studs in to fit the sides in place and extended the back edge as was too short. Van trim and fill once it's fitted. But need my clamps which are at work so to be done another day ImageImageImageImage

Failed it's mot today. Emissions where high and outer CV boot. Service tomorrow and can belt and try to do CV boot again as has been done before but keeps coming loose. Going to remove the air filter I out on as well and out standard back on.

Cam belt a service and a good thrashing got it through its mot. Front and rear bumpers ready for primer now. Getting spoiler to fit a bit nicer then can prime that aswell. Thinking a black roof maybe and black spoiler.

A little fidderly using needles and then chap at work said he had the pin removal tool. I haven't had mine coded yet but took about an hour to do.
