Mind blowing build , you must have balls the size of footballs & a very understanding mrs.
Take my hat off to you pal probably the best modded vehicle I have ever seen & I have been in the motor trade for 25years, all the best with future builds / projects.
Thanks for a decent read. :D
well thanks very much mate , reading stuff like this really makes building motors worth while , I get lots of feed back from the van itself where ever I go , but im just not doing enough mileage in it, it just sits at the bottom of the workshop car park , its a shame realy ,I was thinking about getting rid of it . but ever time I do i get it out for a blast then think naaaaa.
ive built a few now inc 4 wheel drive r32 , an cr170tdi 4x4 types , its all ways good to read stuff like this .
thanks for taking the time to look at it .
if it aint broke an it dont need fixing , then its time to make it go faster .

I joined this forum with a view to looking into buying a Caddy or a T5 and this thread is just one reason why buying a Caddy is a no brainer.

One observation I have seen is a difference between the T5 crowd and the Caddy crowd. A lot of T5's just want a camper van and will wave a large cheque at a conversion company. The caddy scene is much more about modding a vehicle and are far more hands on.

And this thread only serves to fuel that, hats off to you.

Hi, brilliant van build, I have a question tho- did you splice the 2 looms together or just use the rococo loom? I've got an sdi and am about to put my tdi engine and box in.

Thanks adam

I have enjoyed this thread, what you have done is really clever.

I can't help wondering why you don't put an ebay link here. With this sort of build up information, I expect a few guys on here might be sorely tempted.

At the very least it could push up the final price.

Good luck. :)

edit, I am a newbie, just move along, there is nothing to see here.
