my plan is in the end to use bits of both looms car an caddy .
front lights rads from caddy , engine ,ecu, bulkhead an all the dash from the scirocco . so i should be able to run the digital heater dials ,standard alarm an the ipod adaptor.
then run the standard rear end loom , so i should still be able to plug in to obd port, an all the standard allarm an immobilzer .

i think any way lol i have it all working in my head lol just got to get it in the van .

its that or stip everything down on the car loom an just use the engine loom , get rid of the coded key an run it piggy back on the van loom .

think the full loom is better it will look trick with all the switches an heater in a one off dash ;)

What a result picking up that engine with only 500 miles on the clock. That poor scirocco must have been a right mess!

Hope you've got somewhere nice and dry to keep it while your tearing it apart :)

the scirocco was mushed but most roof and rear so nuthing i needed was damaged , i got everything i could lol.
need to find some rear discs now cos im not sure the ones from the rocc are going to go again , mite go an price it all up new .

anyone know exactly what parts are needed to do the discs on the rear ??

i hope to just get the engine in an get it running with the standard full loom over a weekend :o
then spend a few weeks cutting unwanted stuff away an graftting the two looms togeter ruff then i will take out the hole lot an loom it up properly .

i need to get hold of the standard ac heater switches from a 11 rocco an see if i can get it all to work
