My new Facelift Caddy

Post by DubVrs »

I have been on here a while but not posted much.

I was looking for a Caddy but ended up getting a T5 a while ago but things changed again and again so now I have purchased one last week.

Sold my daily CC as I hardly used it.

Only purchased the Caddy to run parts around as currently restoring my R32 powered mk2 Golf Edition One.

Garage got the crease in the drivers side sorted but bodyshop have made a right mess of it

Now it is at my friends bodyshop waiting to be started. Also got a set of Edition 30 side trims. Will be colour coded and Touran front end fitted.

Got plenty of parts to go on just hope its ready when I get back as working in Texas at the moment.

Love the mk2. CC was heavily modded too! Is that Milton Keynes? Looking forward to seeing what you've got planned for the Caddy.

I live in Stoke on Trent but pics of the CC were taken at the Awesome Gti open day.

Got plenty of plans but just need to get my van and enjoy it.

Got a call from the bodyshop saying my caddy was ready :D

Picked it up on Friday night and started modding this morning.

Jobs done so far.

Alpine double din with full canbus module.
Installed a mk4 golf interior light with micro phone section for stereo mic.
Led lights in interior light.
Engine cover.
Vmaxx coilovers fitted with RAD alignment plates.
Wheels fitted.

Van now looks like this.

Managed to pick up some MK5 Golf GTi front seats for £80.

Now all cleaned all ready to go in.

Hopefully get some more jobs done tomorrow but a good days progress.

Got them off ebay. They were listed as Vw luxury front seats so did not come up until I searched for Vw seats. Got them all cleaned up and fitted look spot on. Will take some pics if the rain ever stops.

Caddy is coming along nicely. That Passat CC was sweet, would like one of those someday.
