its on its way at last!!

Post by jameswhite »

Hi guys and girls, had my letter through confirming my new caddy maxi highline is about 9 weeks away. Got the 140 dag with hill hold, parallel park assist, Kenwood dab radio with sat nav, multi function steering wheel, visability pack, seat lumber pack, pretty much all the extras! Iv also sorted out my racking which I think I'm getting from tevo.

Id like to remap but don't want to lose warranty but I do fancy some extra power, it might have to be a chip which can be removed. Not ideal but no other way. Any ideas??

As far as im aware thats the reason why people use these so you can take it off before it goes in . A lot of the bwm owners i know use them

Caddy sounds nice bet you cant wait

Be aware bluefin cant talk to some ecu's as vw have put a system im place to stop people mapping engines like this

Not sure if the new caddy is affected but I know the mk6 jetta is. Bluefin wont tell you till you buy their product then when it doesn't work tell you that you need to take the car to them to get the ecu unlocked

I've got a DTUK CRTD2 chip on my DSG 2.0

Goes well enough, I have to say!! Had the same type on my T5.1

Might be selling it if you are interested - only had it on the van 3 months, it's nearly new.

Iv also thought about getting leather as well, just waiting from a price back. It's either the 17" wheels or leather. What would you go for?

The new ecu modules have to be physically opened before a remap. Sorry :D
