Van re classified under 2 tonne!
After a letter to dvla stating after changing the suspension and that it now lowered and cant carry the same weight the sent me a generic plating letter back that I returned saying car derived vans aint plated the same as commercial I got my v5 back
thats me now at car speed limits !!!
Oh I never carry much weight mainly empty in the back

This is great news. I'm definitely interested in the letters you wrote. If we all write the same thing, it might make the dvla respond quicker to each new request.

Mine states car derivied van on the v5 but shows normal 2211kg, that mean i have to drive slower!?

Mine states 3 seats but only have two. I noticed the last post has three seats on it as well

Car derived van means nothing.
If it's LGV and over 2 tonnes GROSS weight then you are held at lower speed limits.
Only Corsa vans and Clio vans meet this gross weight requirement, as far as I know. Hence needing to get the under 2 tonnes gross weight clarification.
