Head unit problem

Post by samb0 »

I have a problem with my rcd 300. The cd player has frozen, can't skip songs, won't play cd. Won't eject cd either.

A couple of weeks ago it was switching itself on too.
I'd come out to the van in the morning and the radio would be on.

Has anyone else had similar issues.
Any help would be great.
Cheers.

I solved similar problems by leaving mine in a skip. It's an old, outdated unit and can be replaced with something good very economically. RCD310 is one option, I went for an Alpine iPod commander unit, with built in Bluetooth for the phone and I'm delighted.

Good call. Maybe I'll practice shot put with it.
