Re: Plasti dipped caddy 2k
Sorry dude not been on in a few days.. It's a company called Midlands car dip. Andy is the owner and a top bloke.
Signs are good so far in terms of how it stands up to the elements. Had some quite thick frost, road salt and spilt a little fuel on it whilst filling up and it's all just washed off without a problem and left no marks etc.

I really like the matte finishes being used more often these days. How has the plastidip holding up since you first had it done?

Re: Plasti dipped caddy 2k
Leon it's holding up well to be honest. Hadn't cleaned it for two weeks until today and was absolutely covered in dirt and dried road salt and after a fairly liquid bath it looked as good as the day it was done.
Got forced slightly up against a hedge/small tree the other day by a passing truck down a county lane and even the bigger branches that rubbed down the side of the van didn't damage it so it seems pretty durable..

Your caddy looks the nuts and I just cant believe it cost just 400 notes.
Were your bumpers plastic or painted previously? I wonder how they would go on with painting plastic bumpers?
Where about in the midlands are they? it doesn't say on the website.
Also, I read on the website that it doesn't damage the paint. Does that mean that it can be removed?
Sorry for million questions lol.

Re: Plasti dipped caddy 2k
I see a couple of others have asked, but is this a reversible process or is it permanent? Also what process do they use to apply it? (Spray gun/ rattle can etc?)

Spot on finish. Plastidip is awesome for a cheap but good looking colour change.
