Is that just Perspex? Looks like a great solution.

It's something similar to perspex but i think it is scratch resistant, he told me what it was but i can't remember will ask.

it is a great job and the cab is really quiet now.

Did you use a rubber sealant also behind the scratch resistant perspex?

I have a guy who owns a plastic fabrication shop I could get around 20 sets made If people would be interested? I'll get a price asap

I just used a foam draft excluder , sticky on one side about 3 quid from the builders yard or something like that.
He probably has the cad measurements still as we took a template and then put it through the cnc machine if that sounds right

Spoke to him today and he tells me that it was a product called "Lexan plastic" it is meant to be flexible so wont crack.

he also said it's very expensive and would probably work out about 80 quid for the 2 panels.

The cost of £80 would dull my interest a little, I must admit.

I was lucky that he just happened to have a scrap bit lying around, but I wouldn't want to be paying 80 quid either

Guys, just to gauge interest, and some help.
I can make these, the same as the pic below, no problem.
But I'm struggling to figure out how to attach them..... It could be cable-tied on of course, but I'd rather it be more oem like the picture. They seem to have an expanding block/captive nut, but I'm struggling to find any large enough to fit the bulkhead holes.
I possibly could make some custom blocks of course,
Some lateral thinking needed.
Any thoughts on this?,

Rear ended and killed  1.9 TDi DSG indian blue wrapped in slightly darker blue lol, now replaced with a new Highline 1.6 TDi DSG bit naked without the logos yet - rather fun but not quite my Audi S4, but makes me smile as much as my 2.6e 80 Cabriolet!!
