Left side sliding door rail with flap protection
Lads I need some help here.
I want to order new left side rail from the life model to fit the cover but want one that has the cutout for the fuel flap protection.
My 2014 caddy came with a rail without the lock for some reason so my rail is all one piece without the hole.
Could anyone please confirm the part number for me?
There's few in etka and I'm not sure if all caddy life models come with it from factory?
Just want to avoid ordering wrong one in case there is one with and without it.
Cheers

I've a standard rail, with cutout if any good?
Rail with clips should be in the useful parts thread
edit....Here you go...2KO-843-871-J..Rail (Left hand side)(RHD)

Left side sliding door rail with flap protection
Thank you for the offer Tommy but I actually ordered the T revision as the J was dropped in March 2012 and went to L and was dropped Jan 2015 and is now T.
Fingers crossed!!!
Might as well update here so maybe it can be updated once I confirm its the one?.
Cheers!

Yep , let us know and I'll update the parts thread.
Strange it didn't come with a lock, have you to fit that too?

Yes its a weird one as mine is 142 and for example Tims (caddyirl) is 141 and his has it.
Id like to have it as I already once slapped the fuel flap with it when I was cleaning the van
Will post as soon as it arrives

Re: Left side sliding door rail with flap protection
Small update lads:
I ordered the rail and today I realised that the body of my van doesn't have the hole for it making it impossible to mount the lock!
My van is 07.2014 and it doesn't have it.
It looks like I'll have to weld the mounts into my rail for the cover as as far as I know the rail will have cut out for the locking mech.
Balls for me
I was lucky too as I managed to cancel required parts as my pal who works at vw didn't put my order through yet as it was Easter time. Phew! Lol

That's a strange one more cost saving by vw? Dropping yet another part

Can you not fit the new rail anyway? If you don't have a lock, you'll see a square of bodywork, but the cover will em, cover it .

Re: Left side sliding door rail with flap protection
I can confirm the "T" revision has a hole for the lock but it should be fine for me
