Strange spec caddy
Had this 55 plate 1.9tdi in for a couple of dent repairs this week and this strange rear sunroof had us all confused.ive had my caddy for a few years now and worked on
many over the years and me and even the lads in the workshop have never seen this spec. Its a proper vw conversion and has a removable crossbar for a easier access.
Anybody know what its all about? heres a few pics

Very rare in anything other than those green Caddys from that parts company I can't remember the name of.

Re: Strange spec caddy

Re: Strange spec caddy
I would say another money making scam from VW.
That option is based on price list for FL caddy. Possibly the pre FL ones didnt need two sliding doors.

Re: Strange spec caddy
My silver 2006 Caddy has it. It has one sliding door. I use it when carrying copper pipes etc, comes in useful.
Always thought it would be great in a camper conversion ?
