leaking power steering pipe

Hi Guys
my power steering sprung a leak this week and is dripping from the lower oil pipe where it fits onto steering rack I did manage to tighten it a little maybe an 8th of a turn but still leaking so before I remove the pipe I was wondering if the pipe has a seal or gasket fitted also or fitted with any sealant etc ? and while am asking what do you guys use for workshop manuals as I cant find any Haynes manual for caddy van
