Another caddy lowering question

Post by Paul_taylor »

Hi all new to to the forum and have just bought my first caddy. It a 2011 plate 1.6 c20. Iv chosen to go with 18/8.5 wheels and been trawling the internet to find a lowering kit but can't really find anything. Been looking at the dark side development kit but unsure if it's any good, dose anyone have a link to a better coilover kit ? And also if anyone could tell me if I need 50 or 55mm front struts?

Regards Paul.

Darkside sell Bilstein kit which are good.

Take off one of the front wheels and look at caliper, if the caliper carrier is bolt on then 55mm, if moulded as part of the hub then 50mm or if you have a vernier gauge put it on the shock.

Hope this has helped.
