Central locking problem HELP!!!!!!

Post by d5 kny »

Hi folks looking for some advice
My caddy 59plate won't open or lock using the fob so first thing I tried was change the battery in fob but didn't work so checked fuses they are all OK and disconnected main battery for 10mins but still not working. If you put key in door it unlocks and locks doors

So is there a receiver or module that picks up signal from fob

hi there,

its quite possible that the remote has lost it's sync. this can happen if the fob was operated to many times when out of range.

there is a module that receives a signal and its called conveiniance module, depending on the setup inside there, it may be possible to do a
manual re sync. but if it doesn't work then your going to have to do it with software.

Wouldn't be concerned with those faults ATM only intermittent faults. Thermal protection means they have been operated continuously for to long most likely from the button on the door.
If you got vcds you can adapt transponder.
Go into channel 46 then select adaption. Should find it in there.
