Post by gearoid »

Just re fueled my caddy 2.0 tdi 140 after 1005 km or 625 miles works out at 48.5 mpg finding huge difference in economy after previously ran a t5 2.5 tdi 174 4motion. what kind miles per tank are your vans doing?

I must be doing something wrong.

My 2.0ltr 140 bhp 2010 Sportline BMM engine has never reached such dizzy heights.

Just done a check on the last three tank fulls, mainly at 75 - 80mph and the best gave me 41 mpg and the other two tank fulls gave 39mpg.

2010 1.9tdi 104, I get between 46-49 mpg consistently, but rarely go above 60mph.

To be honest those figures are easily achieved in the 1.9Tdi, even at motorway speeds well above 60mph

That's good to know for my drive to Europe next week, I always assumed the mpg would suffer when you're getting closer to 3k rpm
