What's your views on this you look it up on the net it says 80.000 or 4 years
But when you look it up with vw it says nothing about years just 210000 km
I did a little home work and was told change it at 120 000 and to check every 30000 the same as the t5
What's the cam belt change for 1.6 caddy?

I think is 80k or 5 years mate. Which ever comes first. Changing cambelt is still cheaper than fixing the whole engine after cam belt failure imo

Had van for 4weeks but decided to get belt and water pump done at 97000 miles van not 4 years old till October better safe than sorry £527 with genuine parts

Four years or 120k. Just had mine done - £310 plus the vat at the local van centre.

I did the same, Changed at 4 years. Cost about £300 with OEM parts
