No locator pegs for securing front mats
I've currently got some Q3 rubber mats in the Caddy but want to get some carpet mats. There are no locator pegs in the floor that normally hold the mats in place, is this normal in the Caddy?

Thanks, sounds that the lugs aren't standard in the caddy then or perhaps depends on the chosen floor covering when new. Although the rubber Audi mats dont move I would like a set of carpet mats but most caddy ones have the holes in them to fit to the locator lugs

No locator pegs in my floor but my genuine floor mats came with screw in pegs. Never needed to use them though.

I have genuine rubber mats in mine and they slide all over the shop on the rubber floor, does my head in!

Re: No locator pegs for securing front mats
Well the genuine mats I bought from my local VW Commercial parts department didn't come with lugs - neither did the Caddy itself...
If they move, I'll be back down to VW as quick as a flash.

Re: No locator pegs for securing front mats
Mine came with no mats, but did come with a small plastic lug to hold them in place installed in the carpet. The VW OEM rubber mats I got came with a set that has a rotating clip that locks the mat in place. I haven't seen a need to swap them out yet.
