Sound proofing/quieting

Looking for any ideas as to reduce road noise in the back of the caddy without compromising space?
My caddy is ply lined, I have then carpeted the floor and foam lined the wheel arches...
I use the back for mountain bikes, the are secured to the floor when needed.

Any ideas are much appreciated...

Have you filled the void between the ply & body work?

It was done before I got the caddy, I shall check.
Brilliant idea, best insulation for filling this void?

All of mine's filled with acoustic foam.

And did this make a good difference?
Have you a solid bulkhead or vented?
Mine is vented, thinking of a clear Perspex to seal over the vents maybe?
