Re: Pee's work camper resto build
Hi guys. It's been a while. Getting there though.
Painted the other door handles.
One more door handle then onto the bump strips
The door handle lights where a Bastard to fit and the handle dont sit flush anymore so I pulled it out.
Then a delivery turned up
I'm going to give her an intense detail over the weekend and a service.

Re: Pee's work camper build now lowered!!
So update time. Considering I'm a tight git I waited and waited until things came up and finally managed to grab some mega bargains. First up fitted my egr delete kit from dark side.
Then decided to take a trip to a breakers yard to get some seats. Found a nice set of recaro seats from a mk4 golf but decided to check the other yard and came across these badboys for a unquestionable £30 each.
Extremely nice compared to the shabby old seats.
Next little gem I found was a touran hiding in the corner and managed to bag a arm rest console for £10.
So now my interior is awesome. Such a great upgrade. And that console is a bastard to fit.
While walking around treasure cove I found this sneaky bugger hiding under the touran. Also £10
So all in I spent £80. Powerful stuff. The smile on my face when I got home was priceless.
Just need coil overs for the front and il be happy. Lowering springs just aren't enough.
Do golf springs and shocks fit?

Bargain tastic, bud! Looking amazing....well worth a peak at when you first got her, to see just how much you've done. Not sure about Golf coilovers, certainly seen it mentioned before, might be worth having a search on the forum.

Cheers buddy. I'll have a look into the suspension. Also I've just bagged a w8 interior light for her too.

Really enjoyed reading through this thread. No massive mods, just clear vision of an abused van turned into something very tidy.
Like the puddle lights under the wing mirrors, was that a kit you fitted btw?
