Can anyone give me a solution as to why the buttons on the right hand side of my MFSW don't work? I fluked the coding to get the rest of it working i.e. paddles, volume up down, horn but the buttons on the right aren't doing anything. Do these buttons change the display on the dash?

Probably because you don't have the right level cluster. The RHS buttons only work with mid and high line clusters.

This is midline yeah? Before I fitted cruise control I had the trip switch on the wiper stalk.

Cluster is likely stuck in trip stalk mode if its had one before.
You can try a power cycle by removing the battery but it'll likely need an EEPROM edit to suit.

Yes buttons on the right should scroll through settings. What exactly have you done?

That's a good question, lol!

So in vcds all I did was change some of the long coding in 16 Steering Wheel. There weren't too many things that said MFSW but I just enabled them. There was something that mentioned trip computer controlled by stalk so I unchecked this.

You most likely have low line dash looks that way.
The only buttons that will work if you changed steering wheel are the up and down buttons and the ok button with the low line dash you cannot scroll through If these are not working your coding is wrong

Umm not sure. I would have to check. I'm super new to vcds.

I posted a pic of my dash up a bit in the thread.

When you say choosing is wrong so you mean I've touched/untouched the wrong boxes?
